All About Grumbles

This is the online home of Grumbles, a comic strip that ran weekly in Atlanta’s late, lamented alternative newsweekly the Sunday Paper for six and a half years.

Later it was resurrected and then ran on a weekly basis on a Tumblr page, running for a total of 12 years. The older weekly strips are archived here.

These annual volumes had various names, and were a compilation of a years worth of strips, with some additional bonus material.

Here’s an index of all 12 issues

A Year of Grumbles

was the first yearly collection of the Grumbles comic strip, as published in Atlanta’s Sunday Paper, and was only printed as a trade paperback at Lulu.

Let's call this a collector's issue, as there aren't too many copies out there...

The Death of Grumbles

was what I believed to be the final yearly collection of the Grumbles comic strip. The Sunday Paper went out of business after 6 1/2 years, and I thought that was the end of it.

This special issue includes other material, like the story of my trip to Italy to attend the International Journalism Festival, as well as other autobiographical stories.

Copies are available at Indyplanet.

Copies are available at Indyplanet.
